Compared to other vehicle inverters on the market, the power density of the SKAI2 HV up to 20kVA/L can significantly reduce the size and the space it occupies. From the design point of view, the system can work in 120V ~ 800V (850V optional) voltage range, the output power up to 250kVA. The elaborate power interface design allows all SKAI 2 HV's interfaces to be placed in front of the narrow inverter, thus minimizing the required assembly space while making manual operations in the vehicle easier. The IGBT-based SKAI2HV inverter uses sintering technology, 100% non-welded 600V or 1200V power semiconductors, and polypropylene film DC bus capacitors. The controller integrated with the latest generation DSP also includes gate drive devices, current, voltage and temperature sensors. Assembled in a dust and water resistant enclosure rated IP67. Compact inverters can withstand high vibration amplitudes up to 10g rms. The QUASAR motor control software complements the system functionally to make this validated product more complete. Through the QUASAR motor control software, the SKAI2 HV can monitor the junction temperature of each power semiconductor in real time, so that it can take appropriate measures on the critical factor “life temperature increase†that affects the lifespan to handle all challenging working conditions. Depending on the parameterization of the software, instantaneous power loss can be degraded in real time, making it possible to limit the junction temperature in real time. Technical characteristics
